Social media is more than just a platform to promote products, services, and content. It’s a two-way street for communication that can engage your audience. Social media can be very helpful to an athlete but it can also negatively affect a player.

BE CREDIBLE: Your fans will remember the things you post and hold you accountable. Do not post things that are untruthful because you will loose credibility with your audience.
BE TRANSPARENT: Very important that you are clear with your audience because that will build trust. Share your aspirations, show your progress and do not take your self too seriously when using social media

BE RELATABLE: When your audience can identify with you, that can easily spark valuable conversation. Try not to sound generic or scripted when posting.
ENGAGE: When your followers comment on your post, they are hoping for a response so take time to respond. Going back and forth in a conversation brings your fans closer to you and they start to learn your thoughts on certain topics.

SHOW PERSONALITY: Be the best version of you and be authentic because that will draw people to you. Do not communicate in a robotic way because you will lose the attention of your followers.
