Rising Star in the Secondary: Denzel Peoples
High school football is built on speed, athleticism, and discipline—and few positions demand all three more than defensive back. Often the last line of defense, these athletes are tasked with shutting down opponents’ top receivers, preventing explosive plays, and making split-second reads that can change the outcome of a game.
One defensive back making waves at the high school level is showing exactly what it takes to thrive in the secondary. That cornerbacks name is Denzel Peoples

Athleticism and Versatility
Defensive backs must have the speed to run stride-for-stride with receivers, the quickness to react to sharp cuts, and the strength to make open-field tackles. Peoples has excelled in all areas. Leadership and Work Ethic
Known for his relentless work ethic in the weight room and his commitment during practice, he leads by example. He is a three sport athlete (Basketball, Football, Track) and very competitive in each of the respective sports. Academically inclined holding on to a 3.82 GPA at Bingham
Looking Ahead
With his combination of athleticism, intelligence, and leadership, he’s positioning himself as not only one of the top defenders in his region. Denzel has earned 4 college offers at the Division I level (Utah Tech, Southern Utah, Idaho State, Weber State).
