What I bring to this team is a relentless effort and dedication. I will always push my teammates to be a better player and person while striving to be the best person and player I can be. I view being on a team as being a part of a brotherhood. We win together, we sometimes lose together, but we always stick together with the same ultimate goal of being the best. I bring an unmatched work ethic. I hold myself and my teammates to a higher standard. I bring integrity and a level of Leadership needed for success.
The coaches should know I will always give it everything I have. I love the game. I am motivated for success. I am adaptable, versatile, and coachable. I will always show up and put my best efforts, energy, and skills forward. I will push myself and the team to success and greatness. I push for success in the classroom and on the field, but I lead life with high morale, character, integrity, and excellence in every aspect.
My first varsity defensive season (sophomore year) was a great learning experience. I was one of only a few sophomores given a starting position. Due to injuries on the team, I was given the opportunity to play various positions on the field. I gained confidence in my abilities and became more comfortable with my role.
I became stronger and faster and really found my rhythm. My team made it to the third round of playoffs and I ended the season as one of the leading tacklers with 98 total tackles. My second year on varsity as a junior, I came in with more confidence. I’ve worked on perfecting my skill set. I’ve been able to take more of a leadership role on defense. We won district and are ready for playoffs.
As a team, I’m hoping to accomplish a winning state title in Texas. As a team, I want us to continue our success into the next season. On an individual level I want to be the best, continue growing and learning as a player and make All District for the second year in a row.

A coach should recruit because I will always strive for more. There is no ceiling when it comes to success. I will push myself to be the best in all aspects of life. Football is more than a game to me. The DB coaches should recruit me because I will give them everything I have on the field, I will strive for excellence in the classroom, and will always be a person with integrity and strong morals.
Timothy is a player that really is the definition of an overachiever. He puts in the work needed to perform in each of the games. He is position flexible meaning that Cummings can grow into different roles, such as moving from safety to the box or from the box to defensive line
Let me be a little more specific. I'll start with his instincts. Timothy does a great job reading keys and plays downhill in the run game. You can see him burst to the ball carriers to make tough and physical tackles. He shows his athleticism by matching up with receivers and running with them in coverage. He takes on blockers with great strength showing that he can play on the line of scrimmage and be effective.
I like his range and speed in game play. He can run laterally and track down ball carrier in space. He plays with unmatched intensity and his hunger for the game is noticeable.
