Coaches Need To Know.png

What you need to know about me is this, I bring a sense of leadership to the team. I’m there picking everyone up and encouraging the guys when they lose a rep or miss the assignment. My confidence rubs off on my teammates. I enjoy playing with my team at Skyline and I believe they love playing with me as well.

Coaches should know that I make sacrifices to be at the top of my game. I never settle for less, and I still learning because I want to be the best in the future. I'm learning how to read plays quicker and understand my pre snap reads.

Last season was a learning experience for me, and the reason why is because I was still figuring out the foundation and rules of my position. I felt as if the game was moving faster because I was learning. I had the get comfortable with the defensive side of the ball and I also had to learn to keep my confidence.

This season I want accomplish being the first team in school history to win the league championship and make it to the playoffs. That would be a major accomplishment for our group. I am also working for the All-Region and All-State recognition. That would be my personal goal for the season.

Cornerback coaches should recruit me because I have experience at different positions on the defensive side of the ball and have knowledge about the offensive side of the ball as well. I am a kid that will work extremely hard to handle the responsibilities that comes with being the best college athlete for your team and that mean academically, in the community combined with efforts on the field.

Malakai is an athlete that really has a passion for the sport. He puts in the effort and his improvement from season to season is noticeable. Lambert has a great attitude, and he is a great student academically. Also, a great teammate to the individuals on the Skyview High School football program.

On the field he displays the ability to read the quarterbacks in the pass game. Ball tracking and good hands may be credited to his reps on offense at wide receiver. I believe that Malakai gives effort on the field, and he understands how to win his match ups

I know that he hasn't reached his top potential but with his awareness and instincts, Malakai can make an impact at the next level so keep an eye on this athlete.
