Each year, football coaches look to fill the spots of seniors that graduated and the Cherokee Trails has lost plenty in the defensive backfield to Division I and Division II college programs. Corbin Cole has stepped up for the Cougars and making plays in the secondary.
Measured just right at 6-foot multiple times summer before junior season. The biggest knock on the talented safety is his body weight but there is no doubt that he has the skills and smart to make an impact on the football field.
Corbin is known to be an extremely hard worker with lots of confidence in his ability. He began to work on his craft as a 5th grader and has been working to be great since. Corbin has a work ethic that get results and with his goal to play Division I college football, he is on the right path. What sets him apart is his passion for the sport and the ways he hold himself accountable.

Some of the things Corbin does well on the field is read the quarterback in the passing game. He is solid as a deep defender but can always come down to the line of scrimmage and lock up in man coverage. He plays with plenty of effort and in the right place to make plays. The more comfortable he gets the more he will begin to show how dominant he could be.
Things that will help him become a solid recruit is his to defend the run. At the moment, coach's will want to see more of his ability to tackle, mainly because he is a light body. Lastly, the ability to read plays quicker and adjust is what he need to show as well.
Corbin and the Cherokee Trail is getting into the meat of the schedule with Cherry Creek, Eaglecrest and Grandview coming up. These opportunities are just what Corbin needs to set himself apart
