What do you bring to your team? Leadership skills, I think about plays strategically. I bring high energy. I’m organized and very detailed. I try to motivate my team. I have open communication, and can direct my teammates. I’m also a dedicated team player so I’m going to do what’s best to put me and my team in the best positions possible.
What should coaches know about you? Coaches should know I am a dedicated and motivated player. I am committed to improving and growing as a player. I have a strong work ethic and I want to work hard to push myself to be the best team player. I am open to feedback and very coachable. I believe in teamwork and working with my team. I am willing to support my teammates to help drive them and myself to success, coaches can expect a dedicated hardworking and team oriented player. I am willing to grow and achieve my goals on and off the field
How did your first season go on a varsity defense? I learned a great deal and fell in love with the position. I was able to lock in on 6 interceptions but realized I had to improve on my run support.
What are you hoping to accomplish this season? I would like to be considered for “All state”. I would also like to show improvement from my last season and Continue to keep my GPA above 3.8. Also, Strive to be the next Travis Hunter and represent my community and family in the best light.
Why are you the cornerback coaches should recruit? I have a unique approach to playing cornerback. I have skills that make me valuable to any team. I have strong communication skills and strong problem solving skills that will allow me to perform efficiently on the field. I am very coachable that in return I will work hard to achieve the team's goals on the field. I am a quick learner and will be able to break down plays and adapt to what is asked of me. I want to keep learning and growing and my enthusiasm for football makes me a great player to recruit
I believe since he has been participating on the varsity roster, he film has shown that he improves with every rep. I believe if he continues to work on speed, twitch and technique, he will be a dominant cornerback coming out of the 2026 class.
He does well in press coverage and stays on top of the receivers on the initial release. He is a kick step, softer press athlete rather than hard press type corner. He does mix it up between press and off coverage. In off coverage, I would love for him to work tempo and be able to read QB throwing mechanics to jump routes.
I know he is extremely athletic and a smart player. Excited to see his improvement as a senior in the program. I believe he is committed to the process.
